Dear Beachside Family and Friends,

When I was in high school a puzzle game called "instant insanity" was all the rage. It consisted of four cubes with different colors on each face. To solve the puzzle, it was required to arrange the cubes in such a way that the same matching color was visible on all four sides when the cubes were set side-by-side in a row. I learned how to solve the puzzle in algebra class using a simple equation. Before I knew the equation, solving the puzzle was truly "instant insanity!"

Rubik's cube replaced instant insanity as the next insanely difficult puzzle to solve. With the advent of this new puzzle, instant insanity faded away, and I thought it was gone forever. I now know that is not the case, and that the spirit of the game lives on in North Korea and now possesses the evil dictator Kim Jong Un. His unbridled pursuit of nuclear weapons and missile technology has brought the world to an insanely perilous point in history. The recent launch from North Korea of an ICBM testifies to his insanity. He believes that he can threaten the United States and the world and win this most dangerous game.

Many have been fearful of this development, and their fears have been realized. The North Korean regime has broken every agreement they have ever signed regarding the nonproliferation of nuclear and missile technology, and has survived severe economic sanctions. The North Korean population suffers starvation and hopelessness, but their leaders care not. Kim Jong Un cares solely about bullying the world into submitting to his will. From his posh palace in Pyongyang, he plots the downfall of the west and the domination of the entire Korean Peninsula.

There would be reason to fear this madman if we relied solely on our own abilities to rescue us from his demonic desires. If all we had was economic and military pressure to deal with his insanity we would be extremely vulnerable. We would be overcome by fear and worry if we did not know this fact: It is not the arm of the flesh that we rely upon for protection and salvation, it is the Word of our God!

The United States is unique among nations because of its' connection with the Kingdom of God. Those who founded our country sought the Lord's help in establishing our Constitution and government, and relied upon Him for wisdom and direction. His favor has been with us for more than 240 years because Christians in our nation have placed their trust in Him. Through two World Wars and one Cold War, believers have  acted in faith for the protection of the United Statea. The citizens of the Kingdom of God living in our country have prayed and taken a stand for the Word of God in the midst of precarious and insecure times, and God has always delivered us. He will do so again.

Psalm 2:1-4  says "Why are the nations so angry? Why are the people making useless plans? The kings of the earth prepare to fight, and their leaders make plans together against the Lord and his appointed one. They say, “Let’s break the chains that hold us back and throw off the ropes that tie us down.” But the one who sits in heaven laughs; the Lord makes fun of them." The pudgy potentate in North Korea knows nothing of God, and is in for an unpleasant surprise if he believes he can threaten the nation established and inhabited by those who serve Jesus, the true King of Kings and Lord of Lords.

If Kim Jong Un fires his missiles upon us and our allies, our God will swat them down faster than a southern belle clearing a sun porch of yellow-flies. We need not fear the plans of the enemy, for we have divine protection. "He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you can hide. His truth will be your shield and protection. You will not fear any danger by night or an arrow (missile) during the day." (Psalm 91:4-5) We will instead observe the defeat of our enemy, as Psalm 91:8-12 tells us "You will only watch and see the wicked punished. The Lord is your protection; you have made God Most High your place of safety. Nothing bad will happen to you; no disaster will come to your home. He has put his angels in charge of you to watch over you wherever you go. They will catch you in their hands so that you will not hit your foot on a rock." Angelic forces from heaven will be with our armed forces and propel them to victory.

I am confident that we will succeed in eliminating the North Korean threat with the help of our God. He will never abandon us. Moses told the Israelites when they faced an impossible situation “Don’t be afraid! Stand still and you will see the Lord save you today. You will never see these Egyptians again after today. You only need to remain calm; the Lord will fight for you.” (Exodus 14:13-14) in the same way God fought for Israel and destroyed the enemy, so God will fight for us. He sits in heaven and laughs at Kim Jong Un and his handler, Satan. We should laugh along with our Father instead of being filled with fear and worry. Satan's plans cannot prevail against the Church, nor can he destroy the nation which is our earthly home. Let's comfort one another and refuse fear and worry. Nothing can ever change the fact that Jesus defeated satan and has put the devil under our feet. Remember: Nothing is impossible with God-including protection from and the defeat of "instant insanity"

hatred 2

Dear Beachside Family and Friends,

I have always wanted to believe that those who work in government and the mainstream media were fair minded individuals who cared about our nation and desired for it to succeed. I have endeavored to maintain an impartial approach when considering the reports of the press and the opinions of government officials. I neither expect that other people will always agree with what I think, nor that I will always agree with them. I want to believe that human beings will show respect for each other in word and deed, but wanting something does not mean that it has any basis in reality.

I was once a child, and my view of politics, politicians and journalists was very simple. I trusted that those in the press and government office told the truth. My child-like view of the world was comforting, but completely naive. I did not comprehend the influence of the realm of the spirit, or the work of Satan in the hearts and minds of men. As I grew older, I began to understand that men are not always honest and trustworthy, and that the only reliable source of truth is the Word of God. In short, I became an adult.

Paul wrote to the Church at Corinth "When I was a child, I spoke and thought and reasoned as a child. But when I grew up, I put away childish things." (1 Cor 13:11) Like Paul, I have put away my former way of thinking. As an adult, I no longer believe that that I can trust or take at face value the statements of the press and politicians. This is especially true when it comes to media reports on any issue regarding our President, and the statements of the elites in our government regarding his agenda. I must be led by the Spirit of God, and employ critical thinking skills to find the truth. I choose to evaluate the motives of the President only after hearing or reading what he actually said, not what others tell me he said. I can then use the reasoning skills I was taught at home and in school to form my own conclusions. This is what adults do.

I perceive a deep hatred for our President in the members of the mainstream media, most Democrat politicians, and even some of his own party. They employ no reasoning to support their outlandish accusations or character assassination. They act like children, name-calling and lying to try and destroy their enemy. They would deny the hatred they hold deep in their hearts and minds, but it is clearly displayed in their words and actions. Proverbs 10:18 tells us "Hiding hatred makes you a liar; slandering others makes you a fool." They have trapped themselves in a web of lies and deceit that they are persuaded i? the truth. As the Bible tells us "...evildoers and impostors will go from bad to worse, deceiving and being deceived." (2 Tim 3:13)

Those who hate are incapable of rational thought. They are consumed by the object of their hatred, and believe that their happiness depends on the destruction of whatever or whomever they hate. They will never be satisfied until the President is forced from office. Because of their motives, we can arrive at one inescapable conclusion: they will never be happy, because their goal cannot and will not be achieved.

Their purpose cannot be realized because we who believe he Word of God and are praying for our President know who is really behind all the hatred. Those driven by hatred in the media and in government are but tools of the Father of Lies, the Master Deceiver, the one who is by nature consumed and controlled by hatred. His name: Satan, his goal: destabilization of the one nation on earth founded by believers for the espress purpose of propagating the Gospel of Jesus Christ. He will not succeed in taking down the President or preventing the spread of the truth in our nation because Jesus defeated him when He was raised from the dead. He then gave us power over Satan through His Name.

Philippians 2:10-11 says "at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father." Satan and his witting and unwitting cohorts will fail in their plans because we know that "Greater is He that is in us than he that is in the world" (1John 4:4) Christians have power to demand that Satan and his helpers bow to the Name of Jesus, and cease his attacks against the Gospel, our Nation, and our President.

We who are adults must pray and take a stand against the hatred and childish behavior of those in government and media. This Is our responsibiity. When we do, we can find rest, knowing that God hears and answers our prayers. Hatred cannot win. We are already  victorious in Jesus. In Him we will never fail. Take heart, revival is on the way!

Independence Day

4th 2

Dear Beachside Family and Friends,

"We mutually pledge to each other our Lives, our Fortunes, and our Sacred Honor" So reads the final sentence of the Declaration of Independence. Initially signed by John Hancock on July 4, 1776, 55 more men were to add their signatures by November 4th of that same year. Each signature on this document was an act of treason against the crown of Great Britain, and marked every signer for imprisonment and death.

These men were not poor, insecure malcontents. They did not participate in rebellion against the most powerful nation on earth for personal gain. Every revolution before or since has been led by men who had nothing to lose, but the signers of the Declaretion were of a different mold. From a position of power, wealth, and authority, they gave everything they had in order to guarantee freedom for all. Many of these man lost their businesses, their homes, their families, and even their lives so that every person in the colonies could enjoy liberty in the new United States of America. They were faithful to the pledge they made to each other and to all their fellow citizens. They gave their lives, their fortunes, and their sacred honor.

In contrast, the elites in politics and media of out present day, enriched by the intoxicants of fame or elected office, seem interested only in retaining what is theirs. They are not willing to yield their fortunes or risk their positions in the establishment for the betterment of our nation. They advertise themselves as champions of the downtrodden, yet use those whom they claim to represent as electoral pawns in order to insure the continuance of their power.  Jesus identified these individuals in Matthew 23:3-4 "...But do not do what they do, for they do not practice what they preach. They tie up heavy, cumbersome loads and put them on other people’s shoulders, but they themselves are not willing to lift a finger to move them."

An example of this behavior can be found in the alleged "Affordable Care Act", which president Obama promised would allow everyone to keep the Doctors of their choice, and substantially cut the cost of premiums. The reverse was immediately obvious: people were forced to change doctors, and premiums skyrocketed. This law was passed over the objections of a majority of Americans, and has resulted in deductibles so high that most families cannot make use of their policies. In effect, they have no health insurance. They are required by law to buy Obamacare, or to pay a tax penalty. A burden has been laid upon the shoulders of our citizens, and those in power declare they cannot remove it. In addition, the elites in government always exempt themselves from the legislative disasters they foist upon the citizens. They always take care of themselves first.

The leaders of communist and socialist nations always declare that the laws and policies they brutally enforce exist to benefit "the people". They mesmerize the populace with promises of a utopia that cannot exist. They promise government will provide, fully knowing that government does not make money, it only takes money. When government runs out of money, it's leaders always take care of themselves first. These corrupt political philosophies do not benefit the people: they only benefit those who desire to preserve their power and control over the people.

The inability of Congress to repeal and replace Obamacare and move forward with our current President's agenda is a reflection of the leaders that Jesus described. They do not practice what they preach, and they continue to allow the burden of a failed and punitive healthcare law to remain on the backs of the people. This is so unlike the attitudes of the men who met in Philadelphia in the summer of 1776 and produced the Declaration of Independence. They were willing to give their all that others may be free. It appears that some in today's Congress are willing for the people to continue in bondage if it means they remain free in their positions of power and influence.

Our unique form of government, revealed by God to James Madison, has endured for 241 years. America was created to be a land of freedom. We should resist to our last breath the desires of those in authority who want to change our way of life and reliance upon the Constitution as written. Government derives its power and authority from the consent of the governed. We do not exist to enrich those in power in politics and the media at the expense of the soul of our nation. We were not created by God to be dominated by those who reject His authority and desire to move our nation from its foundation upon the truth of His Word.

We should expect those in elected office to have the same commitment as those who founded our nation. Serving in government is a privilege, not an entitlement. Let us encourage those who hold office and demonstrate a spirit of service and sacrifice to stand their ground and hold to the truth. Let us vote out of office those who occupy them for the sole benefit of themselves. Let us declare once again that we live in the land of the free and the home of the brave. Let us all commit once again to give our lives, our fortunes, and our sacred honor in the defense of our freedom. Happy Independence Day, and may God Bless America!

Pray for Country & Leaders

pray 2

Dear Beachside Family and Friends,

The Justice System of the United States of America has for most of my lifetime been unfettered by political intrigue and partisan politics. I was taught in civics and government classes that justice was blind, that all are equal before the law, and that judges interpreted the laws passed by Congress based on the original words of the Constitution and the intent of those who penned it. I was educated by my teachers that the Constitution directed the decisions of judges, and that judges did not have power to change what it says. With few exceptions, I have trusted in the actions of the individuals serving in the Justice Department, the FBI, and as federal judges.

I find myself in a quandary, because for at least the past 8 1/2 years, the Justice Department has abandoned the principles that all are equal before the law, and that all are innocent until proven guilty. A former Attorney General, in violation of principle, discussed a federal investigation of a presidential candidate with her husband, a former President, and received a pass from the media and those on the left. Our current President is accused and investigated (or not) for obstruction of justice without any evidence he has done so. There is evidence that the former AG and a former President may have obstructed justice, but where is the investigation? What happened to equality before the law? What happened to the assumption of innocence where no evidence of a crime exists? Things are clearly upside down in Washington DC.

Just this week, a federal judge in Pensacola declared that a cross that has stood for 75 years in a public park must be removed, because it is unconstitutional. He did so in order to placate several atheist groups who file challenges to Christian symbols on public property wherever they find them. It does not matter that they are not often residents of the local communities assailed, they simply proclaim they are offended from afar. In a confusing order, the judge affitmed that the framers of the Constitution did not intend to limit the display of religious symbols on public property, but because of an earlier legal precedent, he ordered the cross removed. It mattered not that the earlier precedent clearly violated the Constitution. Things are clearly upside down in the judiciary.

I personally have no objection to religious displays of any kind on public property, regardless of what religion they represent. The Constitution does not provide for freedom FROM religion, but freedom OF religion. The intent of the framers could not be more clear. The Supreme Court itself openly displays the Ten Commandments. Once again, we see an assault by an activist judge on public Christianity. What's next? Will Christians be barred from wearing crosses in public parks and other government property because someone may see them and be offended? When will this madness stop?

Those who occupy the office of judge in federal and local government should be respected. This respect does not necessarily extend io their unconstitutional decisions. I do not advocate disobeying the law, but I do encourage Christians to make their voices heard regarding the unconstitutional proclamations of judges. They are not above the rule of law that they are appointed to interpret. The prophet Isaiah tells us "What sorrow awaits the unjust judges and those who issue unfair laws" (Isaiah 10:1) Whether we believe it or not, and no matter what office we hold, we will all answer to the Highest Judge.

It is important to remember that Jesus, who was not offended by the cross, died on it and rose again so that every human being could have eternal life. Jesus respects every person, including those who reject Him. We should follow His example and pray for judges that God  "....will give a longing for justice to their judges." (Isaiah 28:6) We should also pray for the Attorney General and all who work in the Justice Department that they too will discover a hunger for justice and set aside political machinations.

As we seek the Lord and pray for our country, we should not despair, but be confident that revival is on the way. When we are bold enough to put God first, the United States will prosper. As God says: "Then I will give you good judges again and wise counselors like you used to have.” (Isaiah 1:26) He is the only one who can truly Make America Great Again!

Pray Fr Our Nation

Pray-for-Our-Nation 2

Dear Beachside Family and Friends,

As most of you know, I am a Christian. I am not in any way ashamed of the Gospel, the Good News about my Lord and Savior Jesus of Nazareth, Who is the Christ. I can also say without apology that I am an American, and grateful to God that He allowed me to be born in this great country. I do not believe that He loves me more than anyone else in this world just because I am an American, but I am thankful to live in a nation where I can openly declare my love for Him.

We live in a time when American values are under assault from without and within. The values that have been passed down to us from our forefathers are based on Judeo-Christian tradition, and are enshrined in our Constitution, particularly in James Madison's greatest work, the Bill of Rights. Christians in our country embrace freedom of speech, freedom of religion, and freedom of the press. Accused constantly by liberal elites in media and politics of intolerance, Christians are in fact the most tolerant individuals in our United States. While we do not find pleasure in the decay of biblical morality, we do not force others to believe the way we do. Unlike others who wish to use the courts to police our very thoughts, we do not care what others do in the privacy of their own homes. We do care, and will say so, when the real forces of intolerance on the left demand that we agree with and publicly support their immoral and un-American agenda.

A case in point can be found in the excuses made by the left for Radical Islam, which is not only intolerant of Christians, but of the lifestyles of its' own apologists. Those who accuse the United States of causing Islamic terror would quickly become its' victims if they lived in places other than our country. They certainly are free to believe and say whatever they want, but only in a nation that was founded upon and remains committed to Judeo-Christian values. Most seeking to excuse or ignore Radical Islam cannot even call the wanton murder of innocents in the name of Allah what it clearly is: Radical Islamic terrorism.

There have been suggestions, even proclamations from officials of the previous administration in America and politicians abroad, that we accept acts of Islamic terror as normal, a part of daily life. A sort of "into every life a little terror must fall". It is unfortunate that most of Europe and even the U.K. are suffering for their "tolerance" of Radical Islam and its' inevitable offspring, unbridled and unshackled terror. Sadly, it may be too late for Europe to turn the tide of terror, because they refuse to acknowledge the problem. After every attack, candles are burned and moments of silence observed, but tea lights and silent vigils cannot defeat satanic Islamic terror.

Even if it is too late to change the course of terror abroad, there is yet hope for the United States of America. We must never accept terror and the murder of innocents as normal. We cannot silently stand by and allow our nation and its' citizens to become regular victims of Radical Islamic terror. Christians and Jews are both familiar with the Wisdom of Solomon as recorded in Proverbs 24:11-12 "Save those who are being led to their death; rescue those who are about to be killed. If you say, “We don’t know anything about this,” God, who knows what’s in your mind, will notice. He is watching you, and he will know. He will reward each person for what he has done."

For too long we have welcomed into our nation those who do not wish to embrace American values. We have accepted into our midst many who desire to harm us, not help us. Our borders should be closed to individuals whose true intent in coming here cannot be verified. When our President has acted to secure our borders, liberal activist judges have thwarted his lawful orders. By these and other actions, the left is refusing to rescue in advance our citizens who could become the victims of terror, and there will be a price to pay. God grant us mercy.

As Christians, we cannot be quiet on this issue. To be silent, and act as if we do not know what can happen without control of  our borders will not eliminate our responsibility before God. We must act in advance to protect the innocent in our country. Let us pray for our nation and our leaders. Let us demand that those in authority act immediately to secure our borders and identify and interdict Radical Islam inside them. We must do this. We cannot delay. Our nation, our culture, and our lives depend on it.

Cracker Barrel coming to PC

By KATIE LANDECK

PANAMA CITY — It’s official. Cracker Barrel has filed for a business application to open a location in Panama City.

The highly anticipated restaurant plans to set up shop at 520 E. 23rd St., inside the new Bay City Point development going up at the corner of 23rd Street and State “I’ve had a lot of people ask me about it,” said Mayor Greg Brudnicki. “It’s a great thing to have something we haven’t had before coming here.”

The development order is being reviewed by the city, according to Director of Planning and Economic Development Mike Lane.

Having a Cracker Barrel is likely to draw other businesses to the plaza, which is currently under construction. Previous difficulty nailing down anchor stores pushed the developers, R H Ledbetter Properties Inc., to divide construction into two phases.

“This may make other people make a decision to go and do something,” Brudnicki said. “I’m excited to see who else will follow suit.”

Ex Wife

Jim decided to tie the knot with his longtime girlfriend. One evening, after the honeymoon, he was cleaning his golf shoes. His wife was standing there watching him. After a long period of silence she finally speaks. "Honey, I've been thinking, now that we are married I think it's time you quit golfing. Maybe you should sell your golf clubs."

Jim gets this horrified look on his face. She says, "Darling, what's wrong?"

”There for a minute you were sounding like my ex-wife.”

"Ex-wife!" she screams, "I didn't know you were married before!"

"I wasn't."

AND WITHOUT FAITH

This Week at Beachside!

Dear Beachside Family and Friends,

Do you want to please God? Is pleasing God even important in your life? Does it matter whether we please God or not? I certainly want to please God in everything I do. I believe pleasing Him is not only important, but essential to enjoying life. I am grateful that He cared so much for us that He sent Jesus, who paid for our redemption with His very life, and who ives in our hearts today. I am compelled to please God, knowing I could never repay Him for what He has done for me.

If we want to please God, how do we go about it? Do I please Him by going to church? It has been said that Satan is the most regular church attender, but He certainly isn't pleasing God. Can I please the Father by working at a local shelter, and serving meals to the homeless? I know of atheists who do this, but are they pleasing God? Certainly going to church and helping the less fortunate are honorable, but are not in themselves what pleases God.

A man named Enoch understood what it meant to please the Lord. "It was by faith that Enoch was taken up to heaven without dying—“he disappeared, because God took him. For before he was taken up, he was known as a person who pleased God." (Heb 11:5) There was an innate quality about Enoch's life that was pleasing to God: he lived by faith. His walk of faith was so impressive that God caught him up to be with Him! By Enoch's example we know it is possible to please God. Continuing in Heb. 11 vs 6 "And it is impossible to please God without faith. Anyone who wants to come to him must believe that God exists and that he rewards those who sincerely seek him.

Most of us desire to experience the rewards God has in store for us, which are much more than one day going to heaven. His rewards and blessings are available to us in this life, and they are accessed ny faith. Certainly He meets our needs, but even more than meeting our daily needs He grants us the desires of our hearts. Psalm 37:4 tells us "Take delight in the Lord, and he will give you your heart’s desires."

If it is impossible to please God without faith, it IS possible to please him WITH  faith. In fact, living by faith is the ONLY way to please Him! When we live by faith in God's Word, we not only please Him, but He rewards us as well. Let's all live by faith, please God, and like Enoch, enjoy a life that is truly out of this world!

Thanks Judge

The judge reviews the divorce case very carefully and issues his judgement. "Mr Smith, I am going to give your wife $750 a month."

Mr. Smith's replies, "That's very nice of you, judge. And every once in a while I will send her a little extra too."

Dear Beachside Family and Friends,

If you read the Washington Post. New York Times, Los Angeles Tim es, or other papers; or watch ABC, CBS,NBC, CNN, or MSNBC, you will be constantly informed that our nation is in crisis because our President is an uninformed, ignorant, racist, homophobic, misogynistic, manipulative, unbalanced, insane liar who is a grave danger to our very existence. The level of vitriol and hatred from these media sources is so far beyond that directed toward any other President in my lifetime that it is difficult for me to believe they have any objectivity whatsoever in their reporting.

As a Christian and citizen of our great nation, I had sincere concerns about our past President and his policies. That did not stop me from praying for President Obama or accepting him as my President. When he won two elections, I did not make up stories about how he didn't win fairly, protest in the streets over imagined wrongs, or live in a state of perpetual hatred and denial of his authority. I did not do these things because I believe in respect for authority. Regardless of what our previous President did or said, I respected his office and his legitimacy. I did this because it is the right thing to do, it is what the Bible teaches, and what God expects of me.

Those who refuse to accept President Trump as legitimate, or willfully work to undermine his office are a danger to our nation, and operating in an alternative  reality of their own making. Acting in ways totally contrary to the scripture, they allow hatred to consume them and empower Satan to manipulate them. Paul wrote to Timothy these sobering words: "And a servant of the Lord must not quarrel but must be kind to everyone, a good teacher, and patient. The Lord’s servant must gently teach those who disagree. Then maybe God will let them change their minds so they can accept the truth. And they may wake up and escape from the trap of the devil, who catches them to do what he wants." (2 Tim 2:24-26)

Leaders do not always do what we want them to do. Sometimes we believe that they treat us unfairly. How are we to respond to such situations? Are we to get involved in quarrels and arguments? Are we to personally denigrate those in authority? Should we attack them because they do not agree with us politically? If we do, what are the consequences for our own lives? Paul was clear and unambiguous. If we do these things, we are doing what the devil wants.

Paul was often attacked by those in authority and had legitimate grievances with them, especially the religious rulers of his day. When questioning him about his activities in ministry, the high priest ordered Paul struck on the mouth. This incensed the great apostle, who knew that such actions by those in authority were forbidden by the law. The Bible tells us in Acts 23:2-5 "Instantly Ananias the high priest commanded those close to Paul to slap him on the mouth. But Paul said to him, “God will slap you, you corrupt hypocrite! What kind of judge are you to break the law yourself by ordering me struck like that?” Those standing near Paul said to him, “Do you dare to insult God’s high priest?” “I’m sorry, brothers. I didn’t realize he was the high priest,” Paul replied, “for the Scriptures say, ‘You must not speak evil of any of your rulers.’”

Paul was justified in feeling abused and hurt by the high priest's actions. He responded quickly and pointed out the hypocrisy displayed by Ananias. Not realizing he was addressing the high priest, Paul apologized for his words, respecting the authority of the office that  Ananias held. Paul had a legitimate beef with the high priest. It was personal, yet he apologized and continued to honor the office of the high priest. In Paul's time, respect for those in authority was not violated without consequence. Until recent times, that was also true in the United States of America

I do not know if President Trump has willingly hurt or chosen to personally defame the reporters and editors who publish anonymously sourced disparaging stories about him in the mainstream media. He certainly does not display hatred towards them. Perhaps calling them "fake news" hurts their feelings. The President is not perfect, and he does not always choose to use the words that I would choose in his communications. I don't agree with everything he says, but I respect the office he holds and his right to say what he believes - even on Twitter!. It is time for his critics in the media and elsewhere to do the same. They clearly do not hold themselves accountable to the same standard they apply to President Trump.

It is important for all of us to tell the truth, including those who identify themselves as "objective" journalists. Not the truth as we believe it to be, but the truth as it actually is. There are those in media and politics who desire to destroy our President simply because they do not like him and even personally hate him. This unfortunate truth means that we cannot rely on these individuals to accurately report events about the President, his policies, and his goals for our nation. Their desire to destroy him and his presidency makes them totally unreliable and devoid of accuracy and truth. This is not my personal observation, but the truth as stated in Scripture: " If we do these things, we are doing what the devil wants." Jesus said of the religious leaders who attacked Him "You belong to your father the devil, and you want to do what he wants. He was a murderer from the beginning and was against the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he tells a lie, he shows what he is really like, because he is a liar and the father of lies." (John 8:44)

What we are seeing in our nation is the death of respect. We must arrest this trend, and insist upon respect for the President and the office he holds. We must pray for him and ask the Lord to grant him wisdom as he leads our nation, and strength to deal with and forgive those who attack and undermine him. This plan of Satan to destroy the President is not about him personally, but about preventing the success of our nation and the gospel. Donald Trump has done more to advance the cause of the church, Christianity, and traditional values in a few short months in office than any president in the past 30 years. He has brought respect for God's role in our nation back into public discourse. This is why Satan hates him, and uses his tools in media and politics to try to stop his agenda. I know that the plan of God for the United States of America does not depend on one man, but on all of us as believers. Let's not allow ourselves to be caught up in strife and become the prisoners of Satan's agenda. Let's show respect for our President and the office he holds. Stop listening to the disrespectful and perverse mainstream media! Get your news from the Holy Spirit. Stand with me in prayer for the plan of God to be manifest in our great country: Revival is coming!
