Panama City Beach officials are calling Donald Trump's rally at Aaron Bessant Park a roaring success, despite the short notice.
"We really didn't finalize most of the information until Monday and even into Tuesday on where and how the event logistics were going to happen," said Mario Gisbert, the City Manager.
Gisbert says the event came together with the help of multiple agencies.
"Pier Park offered up their parking lot," said Gisbert. "Our police department moved up and down the road to make sure we had things traveling smoothly. I'm sure we had connections with Bay County Traffic Control helping with the traffic lights. So it's a huge team effort."
The event happened with minimal issues.
"As far as I know, we had one arrest fairly early on in the event," said Gisbert. "The gates weren't even opened."
According to PCB Fire Rescue, there was approximately 8,500 to 9,000 people within the gate and several thousand more outside it.
