Happy Thanksgiving Beachside Family and Friends!
"This is the day the Lord has made, we will rejoice, and be glad in it. "On this special day of Thanksgiving, I am so grateful for every single one of you, our friends and family who call Beachside Fellowship home. Like the Pilgrims who met to give God thanks for bringing them safely through a challenging year, we have also faced many challenges this year, and have emerged victorious for the honor and glory of our God!
As this day is a national day of Thanksgiving, I am also thankful for the United States of America. We can certainly see that there are many things in our country that need to change, but I am grateful that the One who gives us power to change never changes, and is the same yesterday, today, and forever. (Heb 13:8) His promises to our nation have not changed: we will successfully emerge from the darkness that has afflicted our society and be the country that God called us to be. Revival is on the way, and we must pray and be ready to do what The Father asks us to do so that our nation will return to the principles it was founded upon. Do not be deceived by the media, judges, and secularists who say God has no part in our society. Our free society only exists because of God. It is His favor that sustains us!
Enjoy your time with loved ones on this holiday. Remember in prayer those who are working today, especially those who serve as police officers, firemen, and members of the armed forces. Many are far away from their families, and we are thankful for their sacrifice on our behalf. Marsha and I pray that you will have a truly amazing holiday, and we look forward to seeing you at church on Sunday. Join with us at 9:30 am for prayer followed by our service at 10:00 as we praise God for His goodness, and study His Word. There is certainly one more thing I am thankful for: "It's all about The Word! "
