PANAMA CITY BEACH, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) - The number of travelers using Northwest Florida Beaches International Airport remained relatively unchanged for 2016.
Even though the passenger load for the month of August was down a little over nine percent, overall traffic for the year has grown at a modest 0.13 percent.
Total revenues still are at 102 percent of budget while expenditures have been kept at an 85 percentage level.
On Wednesday the board voted to approve their 2017 budget. Projects on the horizon for the fiscal 2017 budget year include improvements to the parking ramp, taxi way improvements, and two new passenger loading bridges.
