Dear Beachside Family and Friends:
I hope you enjoyed a truly blessed Christmas! The season of giving is my favorite time of year, knowing that "God so loved the world that he GAVE His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life." (John 3:16) Monday is the first day of the New Year 2018, and it's time to close the door to the past and open the gate to the future!
I'm always excited about a new year: the ability go start fresh, work toward new goals, and refocus on long term pursuits that we have been working on for some time. 2018 is especially interesting and exciting for me, because I sense that God will be doing some particularly awesome and amazing things.. In the world things are always challenging, but the coming year is full of promise. The economy is improving and expanding, ISIS' influence is waning, and there is political will in our nation to arrest attacks on Christians and traditional values. Discovering government has no enduring answers to our nation's problems, many are turning to God for solutions. Those of us who are born again know that Jesus not only has the answers, HE IS THE ANSWER!
During 2018, we will have an unprecedented opportunity to participate in a major revival in some very simple and concrete ways. When Christians demonstrate peace in the midst of social and economic upheaval, those who are seeking answers will turn to them for help. We must be ready with the Word of God on our lips and the power of The Holy Spirut in our lives in order to help them. Those who embrace religion, thinking that simply showing up at church and grooving to the worship tunes will bring them peace will be unfortunately mistaken. Only those Christians who truly seek the WORD OF GOD, THE BIBLE, and do what it says will find peace. The coming revival will require that we actually live like Jesus, not simply talk about Him.
In order to start the New Year off right, Sunday, January 7fh will feature our Prayer and Anointing service. Marsha and I will pray over every business leader, individual, and family present. We will be imparting the seal of success for 2018 through the power of the Holy Spirit, and will add our faith to yours for incredible blessings in your lives during the coming year. Join us THIS Sunday morning at 10:00 for the next installment of my teaching series "Spirit Powered Living: the Ultimate Power Up!" The anointing for healing and miracles is with us in every service.
